  2. Mix: Combine melted butter, lemon juice, and olive oil in a bowl.

  3. Prepare Tray: Place salmon slices in an aluminum baking tray.

  4. Season: Brush special mix over salmon. Generously season with salt & pepper.

  5. Bake: Place tray in the oven and cook for 12 minutes at 190°C.

  6. Broil: Switch oven to top broil at 250°C and broil salmon for 7 minutes.

🍋 Serving Recommendations

  • Pair with roasted asparagus, garlic mashed potatoes, or steamed rice.

  • Drizzle with extra lemon juice or serve with herbed butter.

  • Enjoy with a light white wine like Sauvignon Blanc or Chardonnay.

📝 Notes for Next Time

  • Prefer a stronger crust? Extend the broiling time by 1–2 minutes.

  • Want extra flavour? Add thyme or dill to the butter mixture.

  • Make it richer: Swap melted butter for ghee or clarified butter for a deeper taste.
