Ingredients

Base

  • 1000 g Ita-san unsalted edamame (frozen)
  • Water (enough to steam)

Optional Toppings

Steps

  1. Fill pot – Add water just below the steamer insert.
  2. Bring to boil – Cover and heat until steam forms.
  3. Add edamame – Place frozen edamame in the steamer tray.
  4. Steam – Cook on medium-high (7–8/10) for 7–10 minutes, until tender.

Plating

  • Transfer edamame to a serving bowl.
  • Sprinkle generously with kosher salt.
