Ingredients

  • 600g chicken breast, diced
  • 4 cloves garlic, diced
  • 3 tbsp parsley, chopped
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp yuzu honey
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • 1 tsp thyme
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 2–3 tbsp water
  • Plastic wrap
  • 1 tbsp gochujang (optional)
  • Cherry tomatoes (optional)

Steps

  1. Mix marinade – Combine garlic, parsley, sugar, yuzu honey, oils, herbs, salt, pepper, water, and gochujang.
  2. Marinate chicken – Toss chicken in marinade. Cover & chill 30 min.
  3. Heat grill – Set to medium-high heat (375–450°F / 190–230°C, about 75–85% max).
  4. Make skewers – Thread chicken (add cherry tomato tip if using).
  5. Grill – Cook 2 skewers per person. Grill until chicken reaches 165°F internally.
  6. Flip – Turn after 4–5 min when easy to lift.
  7. Serve – Rest briefly, then enjoy warm.

Tips

  • Add smoked paprika for smoky flavor.
  • Marinate overnight for tenderness.
  • Air fryer option: 200°C, 12 min, flip halfway.
