Ingredients

  • 4 pieces of Homemade Steamed Siopao (e.g. chicken buns)
  • 1 tbsp Hoisin sauce
  • ΒΌ tsp sesame oil
  • ΒΌ tsp soy sauce

Steps

  1. Prep steamer – Add insert to pot. Add water just below insert base.
  2. Heat – Set hob to max (10) until steaming.
  3. Steam siopao – Place buns in steamer. Lower hob to 9. Steam 12 min.
  4. Make sauce – Mix hoisin, sesame oil & soy sauce in a small plate.

Notes & Tips

  • Add chili or garlic to sauce for extra kick.
  • Keep water below buns during steaming.
